We, the undersigned, call on our Seattle Mayor, Mike McGinn, and all Seattle City Council Members to adopt a Local Hire Ordinance that will ensure our talented un- and under employed workers have the first opportunity to go to work on publicly funded contracts! Hiring locally helps stop climate change, strengthens our communities, and will provide opportunity for Seattle Residents to secure livable wage employment.
